SAN JOSE, Calif.--PayPal today announced that it is introducing a new partner program. This program gives special benefits and incentives to e-commerce and financial service providers that integrate and offer PayPal’s Express Checkout to their merchant customers.
Under this new program, partners will receive integration technical support, integration best practice information, and access to co-branded marketing materials. In addition, partners that integrate Express Checkout will be eligible for an integration bonus upon receiving certification from PayPal. All partners will be listed in PayPal’s Solutions Directory at https://www.paypal.com/solutions, making it easy for merchants to find best-in-class partners to meet their specific e-commerce needs.
“With this program, we are letting the industry know that PayPal actively supports e-commerce and financial service providers,” said Gene Alston, business development director at PayPal. “By working together we can help drive partners’ success, ensuring that they have the tools and expertise to deliver on the needs of their customers.”
“We are excited to continue our partnership with PayPal,” said Matt McDowell, VP of Merchant Services at CardinalCommerce. “The program allows our merchant customers an easy way to find and identify us as a trusted source for optimally integrated PayPal solutions.”
The PayPal partner program allows the company and its partners to scale the integration of its payments products to meet the needs of the e-commerce industry's rapidly-growing demand for alternative payments. PayPal offers merchants a full service, flexible way to accept payments online. Leading the industry with more than 143 million accounts, PayPal delivers incremental sales to merchants.
Charter members of PayPal’s partner program include CardinalCommerce, Chase-Paymentech, ProStores, and Zen Cart among others. Those interested in joining the program are encouraged to visit https://www.paypal.com/partnerprogram.
